Back to the gym

The woman at the gym said today “your health is a life long commitment”, and that really resonated with me.

I’m feeling better than usual at the moment, my joint pain is pretty well under control and my diet is manageable. And so today I signed up for a month of full membership at the gym, giving me access to both the pool area and the gym and group fitness area. Yesterday they let me try out the body balance class for free, to see if it’s doable with my arthritis. My wrists suffered a bit, but there are workarounds for everything so that none of my joints have to suffer too much. Tonight I got back into my hydrotherapy routine, and on the weekend I’m going to do a pilates class.
